[wxPython] readlines() et al.

Chris Barker-4
HI folks,

I know this is off topic, but since it's been discussed here I thought I
'd try one more question:

Is there a way to call readlines(n), or soomething like it, so that you
get a specified number of lines, rather than a specified number of
bytes?

It would be really handy to be able to do this without the performance
hit of:

for i in range(n):
        list.append(file.readline())

-Thanks,
-Chris
