Re: pip issue

Olivier Bélanger
Hi,

Run the command in a Command Prompt, not in a python interpreter!

Re: pip issue

Umar Yusuf
Hello  pascal.

You are accessing the wrong window, that is a Python interpreter NOT command prompt. See command prompt below.... you can get it from your windows start button search for cmd

Re: pip issue

I assume that you can run python from the command line?  I don't know how you installed python but normally the command line tools are installed at the same time.  On windows you have to add the path to those tools - i.e. "pip" which is again normally done at install time.  I would suggest that you search your HD/s and determine where pip was installed and run it from the directory.  If you can do that then all you have to do is add the directory to your search path.

Then I guess you don't have Python27/Scripts pathogènes in your PATH env variable. Try this one in a command prompt:

py -2.7 -m pip install -U wxPython

Re: pip issue

sebastian lópez
By using the command prompt

>>> import pip
>>> pip.main(['install', '--upgrade', 'wxpython'])
