Understanding: windows over other windows

I want to open a window (other frame) when press an item on a wx.ListCtrl , the problem is when the window open, goes behind the main window... lose the focus or something, unlike when i do the same but from a button

You can try:

self.SetWindowStyle(wx.STAY_ON_TOP)
