Linux wheels size

Евгений Ильин
Hello.

Just wondering. Why was size of wxPython 4.0.1 wheel for Linux 19 MB but
size of wxPython 4.0.3 - 115.5 MB?

Best wishes.

It depends on the Python used for the build. The wxPython picks up some default C compilation options from the Python being used for the build, and some Linux Python's include flags that cause the C debugging info to be included in the binaries, some do not. That is the majority of the size difference you are seeing.
